The tongue has the power of life and death.

"All revolutionary changes are unthinkable until they happen... and then they are understood to be inevitable." - Theodore Roszak

Disclaimer: This quote will probably have nothing to do with the rest of my entry, but it was nonetheless what provoked my thoughts.

I read this quote in a book and it got me thinking... maybe part of prophetically declaring something is making people believe that (fill in the blank) is possible. Maybe when a prophetic word is spoken, it changes our mindset and our belief system. I think because God knows that we need to hear the big dreams and visions out loud.

Paul teaches us not to view others from a worldly perspective.
"and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh." -2 Corinthians 5:15-16
Because Christ died for us, we are a new creation when we receive his salvation. So although we struggle with sin, we don't call ourselves sinners but we call ourselves kings to the most high King, righteous ones, holy, children of God, Hephzibah, Beulah, and the apple of his eye. Wow...
